Suggester and Chordbot
In this video, I take a few minutes to rave about each chord app, and highlight the features that turn me on as a music writer/creator.
These apps are great for getting new song ideas generated. Pick a key/scale, major keys are great for beginners, or get experimental!
These apps will give you all the chords that sound great in that key, as well as ones that can be used to add variety to your tune.
Awesome also for learning/improving your music theory knowledge.
You can export midi files from these apps after you have a set of chords you are happy with. Then import into your favorite DAW of other music app. Add more tracks, vocals, guitar or whatever ya got.
